Who runs Amaki

Amaki is operated by Instal S.r.l., registered office at Via del Tiratoio 1, 50124 Florence (FI), Italy, tax code and VAT number 06681730484 (“Instal” or “we”). You can write to us at hello@amaki.ai.

What Amaki is

Amaki is a price comparison service (Comparison Shopping Service) with an assistant based on artificial intelligence. It helps you find products, compare prices and offers from third-party online shops, and remember the things you care about.

Amaki does not sell products and is not a marketplace. When you choose an offer and open it, you are taken to the shop’s website: any purchase happens there, under a contract between you and the shop, on the shop’s terms. The final price, payment, delivery, right of withdrawal, returns, the legal guarantee of conformity and customer service are the shop’s responsibility.

Using Amaki is free of charge.

How we earn money and how we order results

Amaki takes part in affiliate programmes: when you open an offer through Amaki and then buy, the shop or the affiliate network may pay us a commission. The commission does not change the price you pay.

As an Amazon Associate, Instal S.r.l. earns from qualifying purchases.

No shop pays to appear in the results or to be shown higher up, and there are no paid placements. The order of the results does not depend on the commission or on whether a shop is an affiliate: it depends on relevance to your request, availability, price and, if you have told us about them, your tastes and preferences.

The shops included in searches are selected by us for reliability and relevance; the selection is not paid for. When you sort by price, results are ordered by the product price, excluding shipping costs.

Prices and product information

Prices, availability and product details come from the shops and their catalogues, collected through Price Ninja, Instal’s catalogue service. We update them regularly, but they can change at any time: the price shown on the shop’s website at the time of purchase is the one that applies.

Unless stated otherwise, the price shown refers to the product and does not include shipping costs. Always check the total on the shop’s website before you buy.

Product images, names and descriptions belong to their respective owners.

The artificial intelligence assistant

Amaki’s answers are generated automatically by artificial intelligence models and may contain errors or inaccuracies. They are suggestions to help you decide, not professional advice (legal, financial, medical or otherwise). Always check important information before you buy.

Do not enter information you do not want to share in conversations, such as health data, payment card numbers or passwords.

Account

You can use Amaki without signing up: in that case we create a temporary anonymous profile, tied to your browser, to keep your conversations. To save lists, price alerts and preferences permanently you can create an account with an email and password or with your Google account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what happens with your account; tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You can delete your account at any time from the settings. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy policy.

Optional features

Some features are only switched on if you choose them:

• Price alerts: we notify you by email, browser notification or WhatsApp, according to the preferences you choose.
• My things: you can record items, subscriptions, bills and experiences, including by forwarding receipts by email or uploading photos and PDFs.
• Gmail connection: if you authorise it, Amaki reads your mailbox in read-only mode to find purchase receipts. You can revoke access at any time.
• Sharing: you can publish a conversation or a list with a link. Published content is visible to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines until you unpublish it.
• External channels and assistants: you can talk to Amaki from WhatsApp or Telegram, or connect it to another AI assistant through the MCP connector. Data you exchange through those services is also subject to their terms.

Acceptable use

You may not use Amaki for unlawful activities, to send offensive content or content that infringes the rights of others, to attempt unauthorised access to our systems, to circumvent usage limits or to extract the service’s content by automated means, except through the interfaces we provide for that purpose. To prevent abuse, the service applies daily usage limits.

Your content

The messages, photos, documents and other information you enter remain yours. You authorise us to store and process them as far as necessary to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy. You must have the right to upload what you upload.

Intellectual property

The software, the Amaki brand, the graphics and the texts of the site belong to Instal or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except as allowed by law.

Availability and changes to the service

We do our best to keep Amaki working well at all times, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the service; if a change significantly affects your account, we will let you know.

Liability

Amaki helps you find and compare offers: we are not responsible for the shops’ products, websites and terms, nor for the contracts you enter into with them. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from information supplied by the shops or from errors in automatically generated answers.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for personal injury or where the law does not allow limitation, nor the rights you have as a consumer.

Suspension of access

We may suspend or close the access of anyone who breaches these terms or uses the service in a way that harms other users, the shops or Amaki.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page; if the changes are significant, we will point them out in the service or by email to account holders. Continuing to use Amaki after the update means accepting the new terms.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction.

These terms are published in several languages; in case of differences, the Italian version prevails.
